With Austria and Galicia, BayOConnect 2026 puts two partner regions center stage that stand for international collaboration, scientific excellence and new opportunities in the life sciences. As partner country and region, they enrich the program with fresh perspectives, strong networks and valuable impulses for Bavaria’s biotech and pharma community. Once again, BayOConnect becomes a place where new ideas emerge from conversations and concrete collaborations grow from personal connections.
A special program highlight on 30 June 2026 from 5:45 p.m. brings this international perspective to life: during the “Evening impulse by partner country Austria & region Galicia”, Liesa Doppler from LISA – Life Science Austria together with Roland Fuchs from Standortagentur Tirol and Michael Gruber from Innovation Salzburg will share insights into Austria as an innovation hub.
Right afterwards, Daniel Álvarez from BIOGA – The voice of Galician biotech industry will show how Galicia is advancing life science innovation in Spain. Together, these two regions bring their own strengths, fresh ideas and forward-looking perspectives to BayOConnect, creating exciting points of connection for Bavaria’s life science community.
Additional companies will also travel to Munich as part of the Austrian delegation. For participants, this creates the opportunity to experience a diverse innovation ecosystem first-hand and to deepen new connections directly on site.
Galicia, too, is bringing an exciting and diverse line-up to Munich, including companies such as ChemoSapiens, GalChimia, Linknovate, BFlow and Herrero & Asociados. From chemistry and data-driven innovation to deep tech and IP expertise, this mix makes the exchange especially valuable. It opens up new perspectives, creates starting points for collaboration and highlights the breadth and diversity of Europe’s life science innovation landscape today.
With Austria and Galicia as partner country and region, BayOConnect 2026 sends a strong signal for international openness, European connectivity and new partnerships in biotechnology. For Bavaria’s life science community, this means new contacts, fresh market and innovation perspectives, and the opportunity to engage directly with visible delegations and innovative companies.
This is exactly where BayOConnect’s strength lies: Bringing people, ideas and opportunities together on one platform.
