    'Dr. Hubertus Hochrein is a Microbiologist and Immunologist, leading the Rese
     arch Department at Bavarian Nordic. Dr. Hochrein holds a Diploma in Microbio
     logy and a PhD in Immunology from the Technical University of Darmstadt, alo
     ng with a Habilitation from the Technical University of Munich in Medical Mi
     crobiology, Immunology, and Hygiene. With extensive experience in both indus
     try and academia across Germany, France, and Australia, Dr. Hochrein joined 
     Bavarian Nordic in 2004. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Res
     earch, Dr. Hochrein has contributed to the development of various vaccines a
     gainst infectious diseases and cancer. Notably, several vaccines against dis
     eases such as Smallpox/Mpox, Ebola, and Chikungunya have been licensed. With
      the research team of Bavarian Nordic, hecontinues to focus on developing ur
