    'Dr. Thomas Meins is an accomplished biochemist and life sciences executive w
     ith over 15 years of leadership experience in protein production and biophar
     maceutical research. Currently the Managing Director and Site Head at CRELUX
     , a WuXi AppTec Company, he leads strategic operations and innovation for th
     e WuXi AppTec site in Graefelfing, Germany. Prior to this role, he served as
      Global Head of Protein Production for WuXi AppTec’s HitS Business Unit, ove
     rseeing international teams across Shanghai, Suzhou, and Munich, and driving
      significant growth and long-term collaborations with top-tier pharmaceutica
     l partners.<br /> He began his tenure at Crelux GmbH (later integrated into 
     WuXi AppTec) as Team Leader in Protein Expression and progressed through var
     ious leadership roles including Group Leader and Director of Operations. Ear
     lier in his career, he worked as a Research Scientist at Sanofi-Aventis R&am
     p;D in Paris, contributing to GPCR target overproduction for lead optimizati
     on programs.<br /> Dr. Meins holds a Ph.D. in Membrane Biochemistry from the
      Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry and a biology degree with specializati
     ons in microbiology, genetics, and biochemistry from the University of Bayre
     uth. His career reflects a deep commitment to scientific excellence, operati
